Prof. Mostaghimi to give a talk on "anti-bacterial copper coatings for frequently touched and heat sensitive surfaces" in the ITSC's virtual preview session on June 18

Prof. Javad Mostaghimi is invited to give a talk on "antibacterial copper coatings for frequently touched and heat sensitive surfaces” in the ITSC's virtual preview session, on June 18, 2020. This learning session will also involve discussions around mechanisms of anti-bacterial or anti-viral behavior of coatings to help thermal spray researchers and fabricators with proper materials selection and processing. These biocidal thermal spray coatings will enable the industry to support the efforts to reduce the risk of propagation and transmission of viruses and bacteria in public transportation and hospitals.
